SUPPORT OF ANIMALS

Every Voice Matters

Animal advocacy is at the core of our mission. I believe that every voice matters, and I work to empower individuals to make a difference in their communities, I want to make people aware of how much its important every life in nature is.

Animal fur should stay in animals NOT clothing or products.

FACTS

How many animals are killed in 1 year for their fur?

Each year, around one hundred million animals are bred and killed to supply the fashion industry and Over 95% of fur sold globally, comes from farmed animals, such as mink, foxes, raccoon dogs, rabbits and chinchillas.

After an animal has been slaughtered, his or her skin is treated with toxic chemicals to keep it from rotting and decomposing in the buyer’s closet. According to The World Bank, the hazardous process of fur dressing is so problematic that the fur industry is now ranked as one of the world’s five worst industries for toxic-metal pollution.

facts about Fur farms

FUR FARMS

Fur farms harm the environment. Millions of pounds of feces are produced annually by U.S. mink farms alone. One dangerous component of this waste is nearly 1,000 tons of phosphorus, which pollutes nearby rivers and streams.

There are no federal laws to protect animals on fur farms in the U.S.
